Word And Image Association 1

What comes to mind whenever we hear a word or see an image/representation or the subject it's self? Playing on a similar idea as 'One And Three Chairs' by Joseph Kosuth and Semiotics.

Visually communicate the semiotic word association we have with common day objects such as a book or a glass of water. What the dictionary definition of these objects are can be completely different from what they mean to us personally or cultural. Although I am using language in my art I am using it to back up or to be backed up by visual communication, it is the visual which is most dominating and though the words I use can be strong they are only able to be so with the visuals.

Wire Words Illustrating Their Meaning

Writing in wire, words illustrating their meaning.
Starting to look down the rout of semiotics, this is all for my Typography project.
